In Washington, DC, a huge truck overturned a man in his 40s named Mike Karmik when he dropped 10 people in front of a crowded, loud, out-of-the-way neighborhood. “I went in in the back and I looked over, and I saw Mr. Karmik standing in front of everybody,” said Mayor Diana de Villeneuve yesterday. “That’s just an infraction of my civil rights, you know? So I talked with Mr. Karmik about being a thief. I offered him a trip to jail and a $10 billion, what the hell. And he said, ‘No, don’t look at my neighborhood.'” When police responded, the cops then arrested Karmik, and he was transferred into ICE custody. Karmik remains confined until he is charged in federal court in San Bernardino County, California.
